IST-ID is a private non-profit institution dedicated to science and technology, promoting research, knowledge transfer, and innovation. MARETEC is its research centre focused on environmental systems and sustainability, using modelling and computational tools to address complex environmental challenges.
FCiências.ID / IDL
FCiências.ID is a non-profit private association representing 12 research centres of the Faculty of Sciences (University of Lisbon). It supports advanced R&D activities across all scientific fields. In this project, it represents IDL, with strong expertise in sedimentology, geomorphology, and climate impacts.
COFAC / Universidade Lusófona
COFAC is the management entity of Lusófona University, Portugal’s largest private non-profit university. With over 16,900 students and 11 research units, it promotes scientific excellence and innovation. Its team has extensive experience in dissemination, capacity building, and environmental research.
